One of the most ask questions I receive is how to properly detail a Mopar front suspension. Most parts were left bare by the factory. K frames were painted a gloss black Power steering boxes were also painted black Lower control arms were dipped in Cosmaline up to the lower ball joints area. Some lower control arms were dipped in black when the manufacturer was using there casmaline for rail road parts. Upper control arms were left natural but factory replacements came painted back. Most painted parts were dipped in pain and not sprayed. This would cover the parts fast but would leave lots of runs.
